4F joins Wings for Life World Run as Global Apparel Partner
Sportswear experience brand 4F is joining forces with the Wings for Life World Run to help find a cure for spinal cord injury. As Global Apparel Partner 4F wants to bring added expertise and fun to all participants and support the overall goal to raise funds for spinal cord injury research.
The Wings for Life World Run is open to participants of all levels, all around the globe. Once a year they start at the same time, running, walking and rolling in wheelchairs until the event’s unique “Catcher Car” finish line passes them. 100% of entry fees goes directly to the not-for-profit foundation Wings for Life, which funds research toward a cure for spinal cord injury. The most recent Wings for Life World Run (May 2019) saw over 120,000 registered participants of 186 nationalities. Together across 323 locations, they raised a total of more than 3.5 million euros.
4F is a sportswear experience brand created from a passion for sports with the utmost attention to high-quality fabrics, modern technologies and on-trend design. The official apparel partner of eight Olympic Committees and numerous national sporting associations, as well as a favorite with consumers internationally, the 4F name is known throughout the world. In 2018 and 2019, 4F was a valued national partner of the Wings for Life World Run in the company’s headquarters country of Poland, and now expands its role.
“The Wings for Life World Run is a global charity event that brings people from all over the world together. I have been observing with admiration how the foundation’s activities change the lives of many people and I am really proud 4F brand is now a part of that. I wish all runners and their supporters the very best results on the 3rd of May.” says Igor Klaja, President of the OTCF S.A.
As part of the Global Apparel Partner relationship, 4F will be providing a specially created, functional running t-shirt that participants will be wearing on start lines across the planet at the Wings for Life World Run next May.
“One special aspect of the Wings for Life World Run is that people worldwide start simultaneously. So conditions can range from desert heat to snow. And of course, everyone wants to look and feel great while they’re supporting this good cause!” says Colin Jackson, Wings for Life World Run sports director. “4F’s wide international experience in serving the sportswear needs of amateurs as well as top athletes makes them a natural fit for our Global Apparel Partner. We look forward to our collaboration as, together with the participants, we work toward a day when a cure for spinal cord injury will be found.”
